I hit a million red lights then punch the clock
Then wait for 8 hours til it’s time to rock
I guess I better wise up, before my times up
And tell a 9 to 5 that it can kiss my whaaat
Cuz life is for living, not waitin’ to die
And new beginnings are in short supply
So go find your why, get your piece of the pie
And never give another minute to the days gone by
